WOMAN about town Elle Macpherson has been seen getting cosy with an American television news anchor.

US reports have suggested that NBC legal eagle Dan Abrams is the new man in the supermodel's life after the pair was spotted on a romantic night out at one of New York's most exclusive eateries.

The New York Post said Macpherson, 44, and Abrams, 42, were first spotted "deep in conversation" at a film screening a few months ago.

"Last week, they were spotted strolling arm-in-arm from the Waverly Inn," the NY Post wrote.

Abrams is the the chief legal correspondent for NBC News, an anchor and legal analyst for MSNBC and a substitute anchor on NBC's Today.
